The Vocational Mental Health Practitioners Association of Australia (VMHPAA) extends its heartfelt support to all riders, families, and communities participating in the 2025 Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance.
This powerful annual event honours police officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, reminding us of the weight carried by those who serve and protect our communities. As thousands take to the roads from across New South Wales and beyond, we wish each participant safe travels and an enriching journey of remembrance.
“Events like the Wall to Wall Ride carry a heavy burden, as they remind us of those gone too soon,” said Shane Warren, Chair of VMHPAA. “But they also remind us of the strength found in community, shared stories, and the collective act of remembering. To all who ride, we say enjoy the journey, honour the legacy, and know that you are not alone in carrying the memory of those who served.”
The VMHPAA recognises the ongoing impact of service-related trauma and grief on families, colleagues, and communities. Vocationally trained counsellors, peer support workers, and lived experience practitioners play a vital role in supporting frontline workers and their loved ones, offering compassionate care at the grassroots level.
As the procession winds its way to the National Police Memorial in Canberra, we stand in solidarity with riders and supporters, reaffirming our commitment to mental health, resilience, and the healing power of community.
