At the Vocational Mental Health Practitioners Association of Australia (VMHPAA), we are committed to supporting our members’ ongoing professional development through access to high-quality, relevant, and ethical training.
To help maintain high standards across our profession, VMHPAA offers Individual Course Approval - recognising workshops, seminars, webinars, and short courses that meet our criteria for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
If you deliver a specific learning event designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and ethical practice of vocational mental health practitioners, we invite you to apply for VMHPAA Individual Course Approval by registering as a Corporate Member, either Bronze or Silver.

For course approval the training provider must demonstrate:

Opportunities for reflection, application, or skills development
Important Distinction
Individual Course Approval recognises a single learning event via our Corporate Memberships - either Bronze or Silver.
If you are an organisation delivering a range of educational activities, you may be eligible to apply for Corporate Member - Gold status instead.

How to Apply for Course Approval

Register as a Bronze or Silver Corporate Member and complete the attached Course Accreditation Application Form.

Submit required documents, including course outline, presenter qualifications, and evaluation method.

Pay the Corporate Member fee.

The executive committee will provide confirmation and digital approval badge once your application is accepted.
