Professional Development
At VMHPAA, we recognise that ongoing professional development is essential to maintaining high standards of care, staying current with best practices, and growing as a capable, ethical practitioner. That’s why regular professional development is a mandatory requirement for all members engaged in mental health support and care.
We support and acknowledge a wide range of training opportunities relevant to vocational-level practice, including but not limited to, workshops, webinars, conferences, and accredited short courses. Below is a sample of workshops and events we recognise as contributing to professional development; however, this list is not exhaustive, and we are always open to considering other learning opportunities that align with your field of practice.
