About the event
Peer-to-Peer Encouragement: Why VMHPAA Members Should Consider Attending
Group supervision remains one of the most powerful ways to deepen reflective practice, especially when grounded in a clear therapeutic framework. This ACT-focused group supervision session, facilitated by Dr Gaye Cameron PhD, offers a structured yet supportive space to reflect on practice, values, and clinical decision-making.
Dr Cameron is a Clinical Psychotherapist, Mental Health Social Worker, and a member of the VMHPAA Advisory Board, bringing both academic rigour and real-world clinical insight to the supervisory space. Her work is known for integrating evidence-based practice with compassion, clarity, and practitioner wellbeing - principles closely aligned with ACT.
For VMHPAA members, this session offers:
a safe, collegial environment to explore clinical themes through an ACT lens
shared learning with peers across counselling and social work
