About the event

Peer-to-peer encouragement for VMHPAA members

If your work sits anywhere near trauma, life transition, burnout, caregiving strain, or community recovery, this Hong Kong conference is a strong fit. The International Conference on Human Resilience: Navigating Life Changes & Challenges (HRCONF2026) brings together researchers and practitioners to explore resilience across real-world contexts including health, community services, systems change, and lived experience, with a program spanning keynotes, plenaries, presentations, symposiums and roundtables.

For VMHPAA members, it’s especially valuable because it broadens the lens beyond individual coping into systems, environments, and service needs, the same territory vocational practitioners navigate daily. If you’re building evidence-informed practice, developing programs, supervising others, or simply wanting fresh thinking and a network of international peers, this is a meaningful professional development opportunity.
