Peer-to-peer encouragement for VMHPAA members
PESI’s Women-Centered ADHD Specialist Certificate Training runs on 8–9 June 2026 as a live (US Time Zone) online program led by Amelia Kelley, PhD. It is built around the W-CAT model, a women-centred, neurodiversity-affirming framework for assessment, treatment planning, and intervention across the female lifespan.
For VMHPAA members, the value is clear. This training focuses on the realities that often complicate ADHD presentation in women, including developmental, hormonal, neurobiological, and psychosocial factors. That makes it useful for practitioners wanting a more accurate and nuanced approach than generic ADHD models often provide.
The program is also practical. Members would come away with sharper assessment language, clearer case conceptualisation, tools for regulation and executive functioning, and a treatment-planning roadmap that can be used in clinical work straight away.
